A moment spent alone doing something I enjoyed

WASSUP:D

This was the moment i spent alone doing something that i enjoyed:

It was...a sunny day?
Anyway, I really love playing soccer, listening to music and MY CCA, TRACK AND FIELD<3 :D
I love high jump. I go for my jumps training at VJC every Tuesday and Thursday. It begins at 4.30 so after home economics and literature on Tuesday and Thursday respectively,i have to rush to VJC as quickly as possible lest i am late for my training. Actually, training takes up most of my time as i reach home around 7(sometimes 8) almost everyday, so my time for homework is quite limited, resulting in me going to bed at 12 EVERYDAY(it is NOT an UNDERSTATEMENT).
OK there was once where my high jump senior(he's the national champion BTW) did not come for training for some certain reason, thus i had to do it alone. OK so after getting the 'belt' from my coach and setting up the whole high jump area, which takes around 5 minutes, i was ready:D
I had to warm up by doing two curve runs along the curved part of the track before doing some back-flips at the height of 130-140 cm :O next i had to do 3 steps-take-off-scissors-style-over-the-bar-at-a-height-of-140cm-onwards:D IF YOU THINK THIS IS CONFUSING PLEASE DO NOT READ ON:D

Next I had to do the full run-up. I had to take my steps, which is 15-15-21(Just writing this in case I ever forget:P), and I placed my shoes as marking to know where i should start from. I did many jumps and i cleared 1.5m but my goal was to clear 1.6m. I tried very hard but i couldn't:(

But i did not expect to reach my goal in a day, of course. I want to achieve my goal by April, before the nationals.

Anyway, this is just one of the things that i enjoy doing very much and I look forward to it every week because...

I LOVE HIGH JUMP:D

A problem encountered and how I solved or managed it

HELLO.

Once again the king is back. hahahaha. I've had many problems in my life. Now I'm supposed to choose one out of the ga-zillions that I've faced. This...is going to get pretty wild. So fasten your seat belts or be prepared to get blown off by my breath >:D

OK. This problem happened like this:

It was a day before my all comers track and field competition. I was very, very nervous as it was only my 3rd competition that I've ever taken part in. I was going to take the long jump event the next day but i had lots of butterflies(maybe moths) in my stomach.I contacted my senior and discussed with him how he was going to make his way there(the stadium). At the end of the discussion,it was agreed that he would meet up with me in the morning so that we could go to the destination together.

OK, that was settled. Then i told him about how nervous i was and i was grateful to him for giving me a load of advice. IT was really really helpful.
In case you were wondering what he told me, here it is(maybe you could pick up a tip or two from it):
Believe in yourself
Don't worry too much about it
Do your best
Have confidence
Have a good time

After hearing what he said i really heaved a huge sigh of relief. I was more confident and looked forward to the event. Well the next day came and after warming up, we proceeded to the long jump pit. Everyone had 3 jumps and for those who jumped below 5m or foul-jumped, the distances would not be taken. Only the top 8 would have an extra 3 jumps to determine who the winner was.

Fortunately, I made it to the top eight:D But i ended up around the 7th place though. I was pretty disappointed with myself, but i told myself that hey! At least I reached a new personal best (PB) of 5.14metres :)

This is an experience of a problem and how I encountered it. I am proud of myself and hope to do better in the future. --

I love the quicksand.

A special moment i enjoyed with my family;)

This is getting tougher by the minute.perhaps.

During the December school holidays last year, I went to Genting Highlands with my family:D
AND I LOVED IT.
It was one of the best, if not the best, experiences that I've ever had, both with my family and overseas. It was an extremely long 4-6 hours of bus ride before we finally arrived. We checked into the hotel, then...
IT WAS TIME FOR FUN:D
There was an indoor theme park and an outdoor one. We chose to sit the rides indoors and leave the outdoor rides for the next day as there would be more time the next day. So we bought 4 tickets, with my mother the exception as she didn't want to ride the rides. Thus she became the camera woman. First up, we tried the roller coaster.
Well, that's me showing two fingers as we got ready to shoot past the people below:) The day ended with some shopping and also after a lot of other games like the bumper cars, etc. The next day was games again the whole day, this time, OUTDOORS:D The roller coasters were especially fun, and before we had dinner, my brother and I sat the ''FLYING COASTER' :)  It was very very fun but at the same time it was extremely frightenening and i was like a cat on hot bricks before the ride.

I'm Flying! :D

We had more shopping towards midnight and I bought lots of stuff. I had a good sleep but i woke up the next morning with a fright.

IT WAS TIME TO GO HOME :(

Yup, it was indeed the last day. I was disappointed but at least i had a great time myself, and with my family. This is a special moment that I've enjoyed with my family, and i really really really enjoyed it :')

Something unusual that happened that day

It was not an ordinary school day. It was the day of the YOG rehearsal performance that the whole track and field squad had to take part in(during curriculum time). I was one of them and we had to proceed to VJC to do our rehearsal. WE WALKED THERE:D Anyway, it was a lot of fun and we had a great time there. NOW, the exciting part...:)

We walked backed and we had a fun time talking while walking back. We had to cut through the school field before proceeding our way to our science booths.

"YUP, IT WAS ALSO THE DAY OF OUR SCIENCE FAIR AND WE HAD TO ORGANISE A BOOTH TO PRESENT IT TO THE OTHERS.WE HAD 5 MEMBERS IN OUR TEAM, HOWEVER DANIAL WAS ABSENT AND JOSH AND I WERE MISSING FOR THE FIRST PART OF THE DAY BECAUSE OF THE REHEARSAL, LEAVING OUR REMAINING MEMBERS(WEIDA AND JAYSIAN) TO OPERATE THE BOOTH."

Back to the story. Now as we were cutting through the field, i saw a rat.

A DEAD RAT WITH ITS BODY CUT INTO TWO PIECES .(YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED SO BADLY YET YOU READ ON)

Everyone was excited and were overreacting. I rushed to get the rest of my class to share with them this piece of news. Everyone rushed like a parade of ants to the spot where the rat was. It really was a gruesome sight.

Anyway, to make matters worse on that day, MC sent the whole class to detention because we were caught slacking. SAD LIFE.

Give us more detonation!!!

Something that took place in school T.T

//This thing is driving me nuts" - m.e.

HERE I AM AGAIN posting stuff for the school blog thingy.

Something that took place in school. I'm thinking. Still thinking. What to write.

Fine i think i shall give a "report " on the soccer match my class(1A2010) had against 1C(2010). Get ready. Be prepared for the thrill of your lifetime. Now look behind there's someone staring in your face. Its just me.

Anyway, it all started like this : Once upon a time, I organised a soccer match between my class and 1c. After gathering all the required manpower and backup, we arranged a day for it to be held on. It was one of the days in December, during the long(could have been longer) school holidays. Well. We had preparations for it and practised on our own.

Finally the day came.

All 1c students turned up in their P.E. shirts and we turned up in...OUR RSP SHIRT:D It was kinda awkward, but at least it was a different colour than the other team. So, before the match we discussed our tactics and planned our strategies. Then the final question came: who would captain the team? As a captain he has to lead like a leader and take the extra responsibility. Then Danial said if he didn't be captain he'll play as a striker?!?!?!?!?! yeah, when he was supposed to play midfield he threatened to play as striker if the captain's band was not handed to him:D  So we had no choice but to let him be the captain.

The match began.

It was extremely tiring and everyone was exhausted and EVERYTHING was going wrong for this team. Had josh been there, he would have been disappointed with the team as he IS an inspiring person. Now lets see. After a few minutes, PENALTY!!! But it was to the other team. Reason? The opponent kicked the ball to the hand of one of my players and the penalty was given. In a split second, the penalty taker converted it into a goal. We were 1-0 down, and team morale dropped a little.

But we had to play on.

After trying very hard, we earned a corner kick.As the ball swerved in, I got a touch on it, before volleying the ball, on target, but just as i thought we were going to level the scores, the goalkeeper stuck out his leg and blocked it!!! :@ I was furious but we had to play on. after 30 minutes of non-stop play and action, it was half time.
Everyone walked out of the field. With low spirits, we started discussing what went wrong and how we could improve on it. After 15 minutes of break, we got back on to the field, determined to do our best and not give up. We also changed our formation to a 4-5-1 from a 4-3-3. I was handed the captain's band from Mr.Danial.

We played better and had almost all of the possession. We were dominating the whole game because whenever the opponent had the ball, we got it back very soon.  However, we could not create enough chances at all! It was a pity.

Out of the blue,we broke the curse.

Someone passed the ball to Daryl. Then all of a sudden, he shot towards the right side of the goal.

NEED I SAY MORE?

The next moment, everyone was celebrating his goal. It was the right time to score as it was the reward of all our hard work. Soon, play restarted and we played like how any ordinary team played like. However, somehow, the opponent managed to sneak another one pass the keeper'! :O

I'M LIKE OH-OH-OH-OH I'M LIKE OH-OH-OH-OH (my god)

However, some credit had to be given to our keeper' though, he denied an one on one with the opponent and he was our reserve keeper':D Anyways, credit IS A MUST to the crossbar as it helped us deny the opponent once. Had the score been 4-1, we would really have been humiliated. Well, I've given away the answer to the final score : 2-1 :(

Although it was disappointing, We had a good experience from this match and would do better the next time. It was a good learning point and everyone can't wait for the upcoming rematch(held probably after the sa1).

"Most importantly, even though we lost, it was the 'NEVER GIVE UP' attitude that made us special and this 2A class would remain undivided forever.Probably."-DSPI

My views about blogging

View this at your own risk

Blogging is just like a diary but everyone can view it. Some may like it but others won't because some may feel they have no privacy. Personally i have no experience about blogging but i feel it is more about one's thoughts than the need to have privacy. We could talk about our daily life or any other random thoughts. Pictures, videos and music can be used too to express one's feelings.
However, there are some emotional(EMO) people who use the blog in a negative way by posting their negative emotional thoughts on their emotional blog. Or others could use their blogs to insult someone, or something. It may be a way to vent your anger on the blog but in another point of view, it is negative. The person being insulted would feel provoked and cyberbullied (i don't know if it is a way of cyberbullying but i think it is), and there are many impacts on bullied people, such as negative personal thoughts, lower self-esteem and self confidence.

To have an interesting blog, it should have an outstanding skin, colour, some music, pictures and videos to look at.most importantly,it should not be too wordy as people do not like to read just words.

I am not a regular computer user and without a doubt won't be posting stuff everyday so i will try to post stuff whenever i can (if possible) and i hope it will be a great experience for me and you and everyone >:D
